<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing program and an image processing apparatus capable of executing retinex and histogram processing at a high speed. <P>SOLUTION: A value Rs(x, y) stored in a reducing retinex memory 13b is normalized in a clip range obtained in processing shown in Fig. 2 to obtain a value refle (S21), and subsequently, a value Outs(x, y) is obtained (S22). Then, the Outs(x, y) is converted into an RGB value and registered in a histogram (S23). If processing is executed for all coordinates (Yes in S24), a parameter in the histogram processing is acquired from the histogram formed in a histogram memory 13c (S25).
