PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component tape holding reel capable of easily confirming the number of electronic components left on the electronic component tape holding reel.

SOLUTION: This electronic component tape holding reel holds an electronic component tape 2. Each of the electronic components is stored in an electronic component storing part 4 formed on the electronic component tape 2. A transparent cover tape 5 is adhered to the electronic component tape 2. A display 6 for the number of left electronic components indicating how many electronic components are left in the electronic component tape 2 kept at the electronic component tape holding reel is printed at the cover tape 5.
