An apparatus for welding opposite sheets (2a, 2b) of material in film comprises jaw means (6, 7) movable and provided with welding plate means (8) for welding the sheets (2a, 2b) and with heating means (16) for heating the welding plate means (8), the jaw means (6, 7) comprising supporting means (14, 18) for supporting the welding plate means (8), the heating means (16) being interposed between the welding plate means (8) and the first supporting means (14); an apparatus for welding opposing sheets (2a, 2b) of material in film comprises a first welding jaw (6) and a second welding jaw (7) that are opposite and movable along an operating direction (C) between a first operating position (D), in which said jaws (6, 7) substantially abut each other for welding said sheets (2a, 2b), and a second operating position (E), in which the jaws (6, 7) are spaced from each other to allow the sheets (2a, 2b) advancing, and comprises moving means (37, 54, 55) for moving the jaws (6, 7) in a third operating position (G), in which the jaws are rotated by a defined angle with respect to said operating direction (C). |
