PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire information relating to words and phrases in electronic mail or a Web page under browsing. SOLUTION: The communication terminal equipment is configured to acquire a Web page from an external server by a Web browser, and to create, transmit and receive electronic mail by a mailer, and to display (a) it at a display part, and provided with a control part for, when a user performs an operation (b) to select Web retrieval as an operation to be performed about the Web page or electronic mail under display in a status (a) that the Web page or the electronic mail is displayed at the display part, making the display part display a retrieval object designation screen (d) to promote the user to perform an operation to designate words and phrases as the object of retrieval from a text in the Web page or the electronic mail, and for, when the user performs an operation to designate the words and phrases, acquiring information (e) relating to the words and phrases from the external server as a retrieval result, and for making the display part display it.
