A scroll compressor is provided to separate oil from refrigerant gas while the refrigerant gas, which is discharged from a compression chamber together with the oil, passes through first and second path guides, and while the refrigerant gas is guided to the lower part of a casing, thereby preventing leakage of the oil into a refrigerating cycle. A scroll compressor includes a sealed casing(1) connected with a gas inlet pipe(SP) and a gas outlet pipe(DP), a frame(2) fixed in the casing to be positioned between the gas inlet/outlet pipes, and a motor mounted in the casing for generating driving force. A fixed scroll(5) is fixed to the frame and formed with an outlet(5c) to be connected to the inner space of the casing. An orbiting scroll is engaged with the fixed scroll and coupled with a driving shaft eccentrically, thereby forming a pair of compression chambers. A plurality of path guides(11,12) are formed in the casing at a certain interval for moving fluid discharged into the inner space of the casing, wherein the flow direction of the fluid is varied.
