摘要 A wire, a flux, and a method for welding steel having a high nickel content are provided to use a submerged arc welding scheme employing the wire and the flux in order to bond steel workpieces including 9% nickel. A flux-core wire is used to weld a nickel steel. The flux-core wire includes a steel sheath and a charging element. The flux-core wire includes fluorine having a weight in the range of 2% to 15%, and nickel having a weight in the range of 8% to 13% of the weight of the wire. The flux-core wire is made of steel. The steel includes a carbon-manganese steel. The carbon-content of a sheath is 0.05% or less. The charging degree of the wire having the charging element is in the range of 8% to 40% with respect to a total weight of the wire. The charging degree ranges preferably from 12% to 13%.
