A method of manufacturing chicken broth with a snake(Sagae Tang) by using a snake-fed chicken which is fed as feed the maggots generated by the corruption of a snake's body is provided to remove the characteristic smell of snake-fed chicken and to tenderize meat. Snake-fed chickens are soaked in 100 parts by weight of herbal extract at 5 to 10deg.C for 24hr. Then, 100 parts by weight of the soaked snake-fed chickens are heated with 100 parts by weight of earthworm extract at 150 to 250deg.C for 1hr in a pressure kettle. The snake-fed chicken is a silky fowl which is fed as feed the maggots generated by the corruption of a snake's body. The herbal extract is obtained by mixing 1,000 parts by weight of water, 2 to 4 parts by weight of garlic, 2 to 5 parts by weight of green tea, 2 to 5 parts by weight of ginger and 0.5 to 1 parts by weight of each of Cnidium root, Zanthoxylum fruit, Angelica root and Cinnamon bark and extracting at 110 to 130deg.C for 10hr. The earthworm extract is obtained by extracting seed of Cuscuta japonica Choisy, Lumbricus terrestris, mung beans, ginseng, garlic, Astragalus root, green tea, ginger, Codonopsis root, raspberry fruit, Saururus chinensis, Crataegus fruit, Polygonum root, Prepared Rehmannia Root, Cnidium root, Zanthoxylum fruit, Acanthopanax Senticosus, Lycium fruit and Angelica root at 110 to 130deg.C for 10hr. |
