<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating container for a microwave oven, which has a novel structure which produces no uneven heating. <P>SOLUTION: A container made of microwave-permeable material having a sidewall part integrally raised up with a bottom part keeps at least one inside or outside surface of the sidewall part curvedly corrugated. The corrugated surface is composed of some convex portions for focusing a microwave toward inside the container and some concave portions for dispersing a microwave toward inside the container. In addition, the corrugated surface is sometimes formed such that the convex portions are protruded from the outer surface of the container and sag at the inner surface of the container and at the same time the concave portions sag at the outer surface and are protruded from the inner surface. Further, the corrugated surfaces are sometimes formed such that the concave portions and convex portions are cooperatively arranged. In this case, the corrugated surfaces are formed such that the concave portions and convex portions are cooperatively arranged on the circumference of the side wall.
