<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which can change a print condition such as the number of sheets of printing paper or the like, when printing is performed after the execution of authentication operation according to the authentication information acquired by mounting an IC card on an IC card reader. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus which can execute user authentication by mounting the IC card on the IC card reader reads identification information from the IC card to authenticate a user who uses the printing apparatus, prints only the print data corresponding to the print execution directions by the authenticated user, and changes the printing condition of the printing data only when printing is executed by the authenticated printing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
