PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incident angle limiting plate for improving contrast, and a plasma display panel using this plate. SOLUTION: This incident angle limiting plate 100 has a plurality of optical members 110 formed in a prism shape having an apex angle of an acute angle on the incident side of the external light and a plane on the emitting side, and a light shielding part 120 shielding the light of the apex of an acute angle and a vicinal area of the apex among optical members.
