PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tool capable of performing coating without irregularity. SOLUTION: A coating tool is provided with a supporting body 12 attaching a handle 16 and a coating material 13 installed on the surface of the supporting body 12. In the coating material 13, a protrusion 13a of which the surface is protruded in an arc shape is installed over a direction perpendicularly to a coating direction x or approximately perpendicularly. A projection of which the surface is protruded is installed at the front side of the coating direction of the protruding part over a direction perpendicularly to the coating direction or approximately perpendicularly.
