A tooth profile of an internal gear is provided to increase a design freedom of the internal gear by optimizing a curvature radius of a tooth profile curve. A rotation angle between internal and external gears is classified into plural values. A tooth profile of the internal gear consists of an overall sum of extended epicycloids with different fixing points at different rotation angles. A tooth profile of the external gear consists of an overall sum of extended hypocycloids with different fixing points at different rotation angles. The fixing points of the tooth profile of the internal gear are defined as end points of the respective extended hypocycloids of the external gear. The fixing points of the tooth profile of the external gear are defined as end points of the respective extended epicycloids of the internal gear. The tooth profiles of the internal and external gears are determined according to the classified rotation angles.
