<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a fuel cell capable of enhancing power generating performance of a fuel cell, and a fuel cell system capable of adopting the operation method. <P>SOLUTION: In the operation method of the fuel cell provided with a membrane electrode structure including an electrolyte film, an anode catalyst layer fitted to one side of the electrolyte film, and a cathode catalyst layer fitted to the other side of the electrolyte film, a first separator fitted to a side of the anode catalyst layer and a second separator fitted to a side of the cathode catalyst layer, gas flow channels of a plurality of systems are provided at the first separator and/or the second separator. If adjacent gas flow channels are a first gas flow channel and a second gas flow channel, gas flowing in the first gas flow channel is a first gas, and gas flowing in the second gas flow channel is a second gas, dew points of the first gas and/or the second gas are adjusted in accordance with moisture needed by the membrane electrode structure, and a process is provided in which a dew point of the first gas is made higher than that of the second gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
