<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a storage area which stores data. <P>SOLUTION: In a RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk) device 100, an encryption processing section encrypts data which becomes a write back object 160d in the timing when a write back execution part 160c performs the write back, and stores encrypted data to an encryption buffer 120a.
