A frontload washer is provided to improve washing effect by circulating water in a drum favorably by nonlinearly forming ends of a lifter. A frontload washer comprises a drum, a drive unit, and at least one lifter(200). The laundry is washed in the drum. At least one lifter lifts the laundry for predetermined height according to the rotation of the drum. One end and the other end of the lifter are nonlinearly formed around a center axis(201). The one and the other ends of the lifter are symmetrically formed around the center axis. The lifter is formed in the drum to place the center axis thereof with a rotary axis of the drum in parallel. The lifter is shaped as streamline.
