An antistatic functional coating composition, and an antistatic functional product prepared by using the composition are provided to improve transparency, heat resistance and environmental friendliness. An antistatic functional coating composition comprises a water-soluble or oil-soluble ionic liquid having the combined cation and anion represented by the formula I, wherein R, R' and R'' are independently a C1-C15 primary, secondary or tertiary alkyl group; and X' is an anion capable of forming a salt. Preferably the composition comprises 0.1-20 wt% of the water-soluble or oil-soluble ionic liquid of the formula I; 3-30 wt% of a thermosetting or radiation curing binder; 35-80 wt% of an organic solvent or water; 0.1-10 wt% of an antifogging agent, a water repellent or an antifouling agent; and 0.5-5 wt% of other additives such as a slipping agent, a flowing agent or a leveling agent. |
