A power transmission apparatus of a food waste treating machine is provided to prevent noise and load of a driving motor from being generated during stirring of the food waste, by connecting a worm gear type reducer and a serial gear type reducer on a power transmission path of a stir shaft. A stirring blade for stirring food waste is rotatively installed within a housing unit. A driving motor(30) is installed at one side of the housing unit to transmit a rotary power to a stir shaft of the stirring blade. A first reducer(10) and a second reducer(20) are connected to a connection body(40) separately manufactured. The first and second reducers reduce the power transmitted to the stir shaft from a motor shaft of the driving motor sequentially. The first reducer and the second reducer are connected to each other by inserting a worm reduction shaft(21) of the second reducer and a motor reduction shaft(11) of the first reducer into an insertion hole(41) of the connection body from both directions. |
