PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the reduction of a consumption power and an improvement in a read rate coexist in an optoelectric transducer selecting a pixel, by controlling the gate potential of a source follower transistor. SOLUTION: A plurality of the pixels (119 and 120) contain PD (101 and 106), FD (111 and 112), a transfer transistor (102) transferring charges from PD to FD, an amplifier reading a signal based on the potential change of PD to an output signal conductor (114), and voltage applying means (VRES, 104 and 109) applying mutually different first and second voltages to FD. The optoelectric transducer has a plurality of such pixels (119 and 120) and a bias current source (116) connected to the signal output conductor through a current-control transistor (115). The voltage applying means select the pixels by applying the first voltage to FD contained in a selected pixel, and applying the second voltage to FD contained in a non-selected pixel. The current control transistor changes over the output signal conductor and the bias constant-current source into a conductive state before the voltage applying means complete a processing applying the second voltage to FD for the non-selected pixel.
