PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the space in the telescope of a surveying equipment. SOLUTION: The surveying equipment provided with the range finding light, auto-collimation light/automatic tracking light, wherein the light flux of the convergence light of the range finding light, auto-collimation light/automatic tracking light are reflected by the object (prism, reflector etc.) and enter the objective lens to become converged light, by approximating the incident angle to the reflection surface of the dichroic prism to the collimation light axis to perpendicular, regardless of polarization state of the light flux entering the objective lens, making it possible to split the light flux on the telescope collimation light axis, also making it possible to improve the color at a telescope eyepiece generated by the performance of the dichroic coat. Furthermore, the space in the telescope for surveying equipment is characteristically and effectively utilized by making reflection twice in the same prism after reflected in the first reflection surface utilizing the total reflection.
