PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a socket contact retaining member is destroyed by a plug outer shell when a connecting cable is diagonally inserted into a socket or when the connecting cable is prized. SOLUTION: By forming a notch in a part covering the groove part of a plug terminal retaining member of the plug outer shell, even if the connecting cable is diagonally inserted into the socket, the plug outer shell does not contact the socket contact retaining member.
