PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of longitudinal crosstalk due to an off-leak. SOLUTION: A processing circuit comprises: an accumulating circuit 571 which accumulates display data, supplied according to vertical and horizontal scans in first and second fields obtained by dividing one frame and specifying gray levels of pixels, by one frame for each column and outputs result as first accumulated values; a second accumulating circuit 572 which accumulates values corresponding to the gray levels specified by the display data by columns from the start of the second field and outputs results as second accumulated values; a subtracting circuit 565 which subtracts the second accumulated value corresponding to a column of display data from the first accumulated value found corresponding to the column; a correction value output circuit 568 which outputs a value corresponding to the addition value of the subtraction value and second accumulated value as a correction value; and a correcting circuit 564 which corrects the display data read out of the frame memory 561 with the correction value corresponding to the column of display data.
