The invention relates to an apparatus 100 for confining in a fastening member 114 e.g. a clip, an article such as underfloor heating tubes resting on a surface. The apparatus comprises a housing 108 with a cavity 110 for holding the clips, a control arm 106 linked to first 300,302 and second 140,142 members, which is movable between a start position and an end position to successively actuate said first and second members. The first member 300,302 is adapted to contain and lift the article into a position to await delivery of the clip and the second member 140,142 is adapted to deliver the clip to the article and to close the clip to confine the article. A later embodiment relates to a method for fastening at least two adjacent articles resting on a surface. |
