<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove residual toner getting into an inclined groove after development in a developing roller having the regular inclined groove. <P>SOLUTION: A groove overlap part 20c for grooves 22a and 22b formed in the different inclined directions each other is formed in the center area in a shaft direction of an all-groove forming part, and first and second inclined groove singly forming parts 20d and 20e comprising the inclined grooves 22a and 22b advancing toward either of both ends of the developing roller 20 relative to the rotating directionαof the developing roller 20 are respectively formed in both end areas of the all-groove forming part. The tips of the bristles 19b<SB>1</SB>of the brush of the toner supply ball member 19b of a toner supply roller 19 are made to reach the groove non-forming parts 20f and 20g of the developing roller 20. The toner left after development getting into the first and the second grooves 22a and 22b is effectively removed by the bristles 19b<SB>1</SB>of the brush. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
