<p>A protection panel for an ultrasonic touch screen and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent incorrect operation when a touch position is detected and protect the surface of a non-piezoelectric substrate by preventing foreign materials piled in the detection area with the protection panel to an upper part of the ultrasonic touch screen. A transparent flat film sheet(10) has the same size as a non-piezoelectric substrate(11). The transparent flat film sheet includes a space part at a rear side, and is attached to both corners of the non-piezoelectric substrate. A transparent ultrasonic attenuation layer(20) has the same size as the detection area(17) of the non-piezoelectric substrate by being attached to the space part and attenuates SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave). An ultrasonic passing layer(30) comprises a plurality of projections(31) passing the SAW and formed to the rear side of the non-piezoelectric substrate. A touch position is detected by attenuating the SAW on the non-piezoelectric substrate with the ultrasonic attenuating layer corresponding to the touch position when an object touches the flat film sheet. The ultrasonic passing layer forms the projections by silk screen printing using a UV(UltraViolet) curable ink.</p> |
