PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by enabling a single card conveying apparatus to process a plurality of sorts of cards. SOLUTION: Cards 2A to 2C stacked and stored in three card feeding parts 3A to 3C arranged in parallel in an arrow C-D direction are discharged one by one from a card exit 14 by a card sending means. A conveying unit 65 can be freely moved in the arrow C-D direction by a guide bar 36 so as to receive cards from respective card feeding parts 3A to 3C by the drive of a conveying unit moving motor 56. The drive of a card conveying motor 41 is transmitted to drive rollers 37A, 37B of the carrier unit 5 through square shafts 38A, 38B. The conveying unit 5 is made correspond to a card processing part 6 and each card is conveyed to the card processing part 6 by the drive rollers 37A, 37B and pinch rollers 50 rectangularly contacting with the drive rollers 37A, 37B.
