PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for performing a main game and a sub-game in combination, which can convert a sub-game control device for performing the sub-game into a Japanese-style pachinko machine. SOLUTION: In the game machine, the sub-game control device 200 obtains 2-bit level signals as a first instruction signal and a second instruction signal, in which voltage is changed and each bit is transmitted through a different signal line, and detects level change of the level signals. Every time the sub-game control device 200 detects level change of the first instruction signal, one sub-game is performed and a first response signal is outputted. Every time the sub-game control device 200 detects level change of the second instruction signal, a second response signal is outputted. A main game control device 100 changes a level of the first instruction signal once so as to instruct to perform one sub-game. When the main game control device 100 confirms connection with the sub-game control device, the control device 100 instructs response of connection by the second instruction signal and obtains a second response signal for judging the connection.
