PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow-by gas recovery structure of an internal combustion engine and a chain cover unit used in the blow-by gas recovery structure capable of preventing sludge by suppressing dew condensation of water in a middle of a blow-by gas recovery path. SOLUTION: The blow-by gas recovery structure includes the chain cover unit 10 formed of a chain cover body 11, and an oil pump cover 12. The chain cover unit 10 is mounted on a cylinder block, and a space formed between the chain cover unit 10 and the cylinder block is utilized as the blow-by gas recovery path A. Ribs 12g, 12g for reducing a flow rate of blow-by gas by narrowing the blow-by gas recovery path A are integrally formed around an oil discharge port 12e of the oil pump cover 12. Thereby, a part which provides an oil separation function is heated by engine oil, and the dew condensation of the water contained in the blow-by gas can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
