LOW FREQUENCY THERAPY DEVICE AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

A low frequency therapy device is equipped with a pair of pads which can alter the area of electrodes by switching the number of electrodes being brought into conductive state. When the area of electrodes (the number of electrodes) is altered, the control section of the low frequency therapy device corrects the output voltage applied between the pads depending on the area of electrodes after alteration. More specifically, the output voltage is increased as the area of electrodes decreases. Consequently, the area of electrodes can be altered without imposing discomfort feeling to a user.
