PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement board as small as possible which suppresses concentration of stress on a part of a flexible printed wiring board, when a torsional moment is imparted thereto; and to provide a reinforcement board having a portion for facilitating holding of a flexible printed wiring board, a flexible printed wiring board equipped with that reinforcement board, an optical pickup device, and an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: A reinforcement board 13 is beveled roundly, when viewed in the direction of Z2 from the Z1 side, at the intersections of the outer edge of the reinforcement board 13 on the proximal end side and the opposite sides of a flexible printed wiring board body 12, i.e. in the vicinity of points P1 and P2, so that torsional moment acting on the vicinity of the intersection is reduced by forming the reinforcement board 13 arcuately.
