PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cockpit module gripping device capable of simplifying a constitution for allowing a dimensional error by restraining inclination when a cockpit module is mounted. SOLUTION: This cockpit module gripping device grips a cockpit module 1 between gripping jigs 7a and 7b. A pair of the gripping jig 7a and 7b are supported to a movable frame 5 movably provided at a gripping device body 4. A pin receiving groove 42a capable of being positioned at a mounting-time reference position preset at a vehicle body 2 is provided at the gripping device body 4, and a slide guide means 6 for moving the movable frame 5 to the gripping device 4 in a constant direction to move the cockpit module gripped by the gripping jigs 7a, 7b in a constant direction toward a vehicle body assembling position from a position arranged in front of the vehicle assembling position is provided between the movable frame 5 and the gripping device body 4.
