An SMPS(Switching Mode Power Supply) is provided to reduce power consumption in a standby mode by supplying the lowest power as standby power in the standby mode and higher power in an operation mode. An SMPS includes an AC rectifying unit(10), a switching unit(20), a transformer(30), a plurality of rectifying units(41,43,45), a standby power supplying unit(100), a voltage detecting unit(70), an output controlling unit(60), and a power outputting unit(50). The AC rectifying unit rectifies AC power. The switching unit switches according to a switching control signal, and converts the output DC voltage of the AC rectifying unit to rectangular AC. The transformer induces AC power in proportion to the turn ratio with a secondary side when a primary side receives AC power by the switching unit. The plurality of rectifying units rectify the AC power induced in the secondary side of the transformer, and provides a plurality of driving powers to loads connected with a plurality of output terminals respectively. The standby power supplying unit outputs the lowest power which is used as standby power among the plurality of driving powers in a standby mode, and outputs the lowest power which is used as operation power among the plurality of driving powers in an operation mode. The voltage detecting unit detects the voltage of the standby power or the operation power provided by the standby power supplying unit. The output controlling unit receives the standby power and the operation power from the voltage detecting unit, and provides a selection signal for outputting power. The power outputting unit outputs the plurality of driving powers provided by the plurality of rectifying units to the outside according to the power selection signal provided by the output controlling unit.
