PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption mat which absorbs liquids such as a drip generated from articles such as foods or the like, can inhibit the adhering of the absorbed liquids to articles, and further can conserve high air permeability even if articles are loaded. SOLUTION: The absorption mat 11 comprises: a mesh layer 12 in which perforations 14 are formed over the whole area; and an absorption layer 13 laminated to one surface of the mesh layer 12 and absorbing liquids. The mesh layer 12 includes a projecting portion 15 projecting from the other surface of the opposite side of one surface where the absorption layer 13 is laminated. When an article 22 is loaded on the absorption mat 11, it is supported by most projected parts of the projecting portion 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
