A differential signal transmitting system and a flat panel display device having the same are provided to transmit a high speed signal safely without interference of electromagnetic waves by performing impedance matching more clearly. A differential signal transmitting system comprises the first wire, the second wire, a terminating resistor, and an automatic compensation circuit. The first wire and the second wire play a role of differential signal lines connected between a transmitting end and a receiving end. The terminating resistor is connected between the first wire and the second wire at the side of the receiving end. The automatic compensation circuit is in parallel connected to the terminating resistor. The automatic compensation circuit includes switches(M1-Mn), the first resistors(R11-R1n) and the second resistors(R21-R2n). The switches(M1-Mn) receive each bit of an inputted digital control signal via each gate electrode. The first resistors(R11-R1n) are connected between each source electrode of each switch and the first wire. The second resistors(R21-R2n) are connected between a drain electrode of each switch and the second wire.
