<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex anion exchange membrane having a polyanion layer provided on the surface, in which the membrane fouling by chargeable organic polymers is effectively suppressed and which is effectively applied for the desalination processing of a liquid containing the chargeable organic polymers. <P>SOLUTION: The complex anion exchange membrane consists of an anion exchange membrane and a polyanion layer fixed on the surface of the anion exchange membrane. The polyanion layer consists of an anionic polymer whose number average mol.wt. is in the range of ≥4,000 in terms of polystyrene, and the decrease ratio of the polyanion layer, when a reversing electric field is applied under predetermined conditions, is ≤20%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
