A SEEDBED MAT AND REMOVAL METHOD FOR TRANSPLANT RICE

A seedbed removal method for rice transplantation and a seedbed mat are provided to reduce damage of rice plants and to increase the amount of healthy rice plants by easily lifting up a seedbed by cutting the rice plants that have taken root in the ground through the bottom side of a seedbed, in the predetermined length. A seedbed removal method for rice transplantation comprises the steps of: laying a seedbed mat(10) of the predetermined width and length having reinforcing units(20) at both lateral sides and in the center; longitudinally and horizontally arranging plural seedbeds(1) on the upside of the seedbed mat with bringing the seedbeds into contact with each other, forming a mat removing unit of the predetermined width at one or both sides of the mat, and sowing a certain quantity of rice plants on the seedbed; folding one end portion of the mat removing unit into the bottom in transplanting the rice plants raised on the seedbed for a predetermined period, forming a knot portion by knotting a side end portion folded into the bottom, and connecting the knot portion to a rope; and scissoring the roots of the rice plants by quickly moving a folded part from one end to the other end by interlocking the other end of the rope with a farm machine and pulling the mat with force of the farm machine.
