PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for protecting a stator coil of a motor from dust and the like in a simple structure in a power tool. SOLUTION: This power tool includes: a tip tool 117; a motor 111; and a motor housing 105. The motor 111 includes: a cylindrical stator iron core 123; an annular stator coil 129; and insulating paper 131 for insulating electric connection between the stator iron core 123 and the stator coil 129. The stator coil 129 includes: a coil axial area 129a extending in the axial direction of the stator iron core 123; and a coil circumferential area 129b extending in the circumferential direction. The insulating paper 131 includes: an insulating part 131a interposed between the stator iron core 123 and the coil axial area 129a; and a covering part 131b extending from the insulating part 131a with a predetermined length in the axial direction of the stator iron core 123 to cover the outer surface of the coil circumferential area 129a.
