<p>A device for straightening a spoked wheel, which comprises a rim and a hub with a wheel spindle, spokes inserted between the rim and the hub through a hole in the rim, and nipples that through rotation about a first axis of rotation can be screwed onto the spokes, wherein the device has, inter alia, clamping means for clamping the wheel spindle, drive means for rotating the wheel about the wheel spindle, one or more screw elements that are rotatable about a second axis of rotation, which screw elements can rotate a nipple about a spoke, each screw element being fixed on a first carriage that is movable parallel to the second axis of rotation along a first rail, the first rail being mounted on a first frame, and having a control system for, inter alia, controlling the device, which control system is connected to means for establishing the directions of the first axes of rotation. According to the invention, the first frame has adjusting means, which are connected to the control system and, prior to the connection of a screw element to a nipple from the outside of the wheel, can position the second axis of rotation parallel to the first axis of rotation.</p> |
