<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe cleaning device capable of easily inserting and withdrawing a hose without increasing the diameter of the hose for high-pressure cleaning, and a pipe cleaning method. <P>SOLUTION: A typical arrangement of the pipe cleaning device 1 of this invention comprises a high-pressure pump 2 feeding high-pressure water by compressing low-pressure water, and a high-pressure cleaning hose 3 for cleaning a pipe 9 by jetting the high-pressure water fed from the high-pressure pump 2 from the tip of a jet nozzle 6 to clean the pipe 9, wherein a pressure switching means 4 is provided between the high-pressure pump 2 and the high-pressure cleaning hose 3, and for intermittently switching the pressure of water fed from the high-pressure pump 2 between high pressure and low pressure in two steps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
