<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that each of radio base stations cannot recognize an idle band of a radio channel to be used, unless all the radio base stations are not each provided with a function of notifying the other radio base stations about a band quantity reserved in its own station in a conventional radio communication system. <P>SOLUTION: A radio base station is provided with a band reservation time acquiring means 260 for peeping a band allocation procedure that another radio base station allocates bands to its subordinate radio terminals, and measuring a radio band quantity (time) reserved for each band allocation; and a storing means 270 for storing results of measurement for a predetermined time. The base station calculates an idle band of a used radio channel on the basis of a result of storage and the radio band quantity reserved for its own station, thereby independently estimating the idle band. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
