A cock and a water purifier comprising the same are provided to prevent water from being contacted with a water dispensing lever, thereby suppressing contamination of the water and splash of the water when the water is dispensed from the water purifier, by improving the structure of the cock. A cock comprises a body(100) having a water channel(110) therein, a shaft(200) for opening and closing the water channel, a joining unit(410) joined to the shaft, and a water dispensing lever(400). The water dispensing lever moves the shaft so as to open the water channel when the water dispensing lever deviates from a water dispensing area due to rotation. The joining unit has a protrusion(414) for continuously dispensing water, wherein the protrusion is contacted with an outer surface of the body to function as a support point for moving the shaft when the water dispensing lever deviates from the water dispensing area due to rotation. Further, a part of the shaft is protruded to outside of the body.
