WIRELESS FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless fire detection system with the low possibility of a failure relating to the work of registering the address of a fire detector to communication equipment while suppressing the power consumption of the fire detector to be low.

SOLUTION: A repeater B transmits periodical request signals altogether to the respective fire detectors A1 and A2 already registered in a storage means by the time slot SL of a unit frame FL at the head of a super frame SFL. The respective fire detectors A1 and A2 which receive the periodical request signals respectively return periodical transmission signals to the repeater B by the time slot SL allocated to themselves. The fire detector A3 starts signal-reception when power is supplied, detects the presence/absence of signals from the other fire detectors A1 and A2 and the repeater B, and transmits registration request signals including its address to the repeater B when the period of not detecting the signals continues for a stipulated length of time. When receiving the registration request signals, the repeater B stores the address within the registration request signals to the storage means.
