PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturn preventing device of a thin display apparatus excellent in an appearance and safety as well. SOLUTION: The overturn preventing device for the thin display apparatus provided with a thin display part and a stand part for supporting the display part comprises a recessed part formed on the rear surface side of the stand part, a display apparatus side locking part provided inside the recessed part, and a mounting base side locking part fixedly arranged on a mounting base member where the thin display apparatus is mounted, and the mounting base side locking part and the display apparatus side locking part housed inside the recessed part are engaged so as to block the upward displacement of the display apparatus side locking part to the mounting base side locking part.
