PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which enables a user to easily recognize filters required to be cleaned or replaced by informing the names and types of such the filters in voice. SOLUTION: The air cleaner is provided with: a filter part 9 comprising an air fan 5 and a plurality of filters provided in an air duct 4; a control means 10 determining the timing of cleaning or replacement of the filters by calculating the extent of contamination of the individual filters based on the operation time of the air fan 5; and a voice guide means 11 for informing the timing. The control means 10 informs intrinsic information of the filter to be cleaned or replaced by the voice guide means 11 when any one of the filters is required to be cleaned or replaced, thus enabling the user to easily recognize the filter required to be cleaned or replaced.
