METHOD AND DEVICE OF RECOGNIZING INDIVIDUAL, METHOD OF REGULATING INDIVIDUAL RECOGNITION RANGE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform such determination by simple processing by determining the existence and moving direction of an object by an inexpensive and simple configuration concerning a method and device of recognizing an individual, a method of regulating an individual recognition range, and a program.

SOLUTION: The method of recognizing the individual using an RFID reader-writer device performing reading/writing to RFID tags in a readable/writable range comprises: detecting the moving object recognized with the RFID tag by a range sensor; being set so as to partly overlap the readable/writable range by setting the detection range of the range sensor narrower than the readable/writable range; and recognizing the individual of the object based on the detection result of the RFID reader-writer device and the range sensor.
