<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold-cathode fluorescent lamp of which discharge effective length in a glass tube is elongated, and of which high efficiency of the discharge, improvement of brightness, and life-prolongation are realized. <P>SOLUTION: In the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp in which a phosphor film 2 is formed on the inner wall face of the glass tube 1, in which mercury and rare gas are sealed into a discharge space inside the glass tube, and in which electrodes 4 are sealed at and mounted on respective both end parts of the glass tube, and as for the electrodes 4, a diamond film 4B has been formed on a disk-shaped base material 4A of molybdenum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
