THIN FILM TRANSISTOR ARRAY SUBSTRATE

A thin film transistor array substrate is provided to improve brightness uniformity by controlling brightness according to each of pixels. A gate line and a data line are isolated from each other and cross each other in order to define a pixel region. A pixel electrode is formed on the pixel region. A first thin film transistor includes an input terminal connected to a data line and an output terminal connected to the pixel electrode. An optical voltage control unit(100) connects the gate line with a control terminal of the first thin film transistor in order to control a gate voltage level transmitted to a control terminal of the first thin film transistor according to brightness of incident light. The optical voltage control unit includes an optical sensor(110) for changing an output voltage according to the brightness of the incident light and a second thin film transistor for controlling the gate voltage level in response to an output voltage of the optical sensor.
