A remote controller and a display remote control system having the same are provided to capture an image of a particular object such as an infrared LED at an optic angle by applying a lens unit including multi-sub-lenses. An image capturing unit(40) captures a front image of a main body. A controller(60) calculates movement data indicating the size of a relative movement of the main body over the front side by analyzing the captured image, and transmits the calculated movement data to an external display unit via a signal transmission unit(50) to control a mouse cursor of the external display unit to move. The controller calculates the movement data based on a movement of a linear element of the captured image. The controller(60) calculates the movement data by analyzing a pattern of the captured image and giving a weight value to a repetitive image pattern according to the analysis result. |
