INDIUM COMPLEX NANO MATERIAL IN FORM OF PLATE OR WIRE

A hexagonal platelike indium complex nano material is provided to be prepared in an easy manner, form platelike or linear thin films easily by self assembling, and be applicable to various devices. A method for preparing a hexagonal platelike indium complex nano material includes the steps of: (1) mixing an organic surfactant with an indium salt and sulfur powder or selenium powder; and (2) heating the mixture at 215°C for 1 hr in order to obtain a hexagonal platelike indium complex nano material. The indium salt is indium halide. The organic surfactant is oleylamine, alkylamine(CnH2n+1NH2, wherein n is an integer of 4-18), or lauric acid. The hexagonal platelike indium complex has a plate thickness of 1 nm or less and a particle size of 20-70 nm.
