<p>The invention relates to a process for the hydrogenation of saturated or unsaturated aldehydes to alcohols in the fixed bed gas-liquid-solid system. According to the invention, the process provides for the reaction of hydrogenation of aldehydes, as such or in mixtures, carried out in one or several serial stages, at intake-outlet temperatures ranging from 100 to 185 C, with fresh hydrogen injection between the catalyst layers, in order to ensure a partial pressure of hydrogen of 16 bar, flowing rates of 0.03...0.04 m/s, thermal charges of over 30000 Kcal/m3 of catalytic bed hour and mass rates of 0.16...0.18 kg/l of catalyst hour.</p> |
