PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe mower prolonging the life of plate blades (2) by absorbing the shock of each plate blade (2) to a front stopper (5) and a rear stopper (6) and reducing noise which is a disadvantage of a rotating type mower. SOLUTION: The mower is obtained as follows. The plate blades (2) having a covering material (3) mounted thereon are attached to each of a plurality of screw holes (7) arranged at an equal angular interval on the surface of a rotating disk (1) with a supporting screw (4) and the front stopper (5) is installed in a position where the tip (2a) of each plate blade (2) does not cross over a line x connecting the center of a mounting hole (8) of the mower body to the center of the supporting screw (4). The rear stopper (6) is installed at a position without protruding the tip (2a) of the plate blade (2) from the outer peripheral edge (1a) of the rotating disk (1) when the plate blade (2) retreats.
